Here’s an update on what’s going on: I bought a new computer! I wasn’t really focused on the other components—my main goal was upgrading the video card. I’m jumping from 6 GB of VRAM to 16 GB, which is a massive improvement. This should bring my render times down from 10–20 minutes to about 1–5 minutes or even less.
That kind of boost means I can produce mini-movies much faster. Hopefully, I can go from making 1–2 mini movies per month to 2–3, which would be huge for me.
